I was not a happy camper as a child, but taking control of my life as a legal adult did not improve my disposition. I was not a real person, just a bundle of extreme reactions and rage.#4 I traveled to work with Indigenous groups and communities all over Australia. I gained more knowledge, but it came at a price. I needed to work and study hard so I could support my children and extended family dependents, but I also needed to live and grow in my culture.
