Sample Book Insights:#1 Mirror work is the most effective method I’ve found for learning to love yourself and see the world as a safe and loving place. As you do mirror work, you will become more aware of the words you say and the things you do. You will learn to take care of yourself on a deeper level than you have done before.#2 Each day, you will address a different theme. You will begin by thinking about the theme and then do a Mirror Work Exercise, which you can do in front of your bathroom mirror. You can also carry a pocket mirror with you and do mirror work whenever you have a few minutes to spare.#3 The first exercise is to say I’m learning to really like you. I’m learning to really love you. Throughout the day, repeat these affirmations when you see your reflection in a mirror or when you pass a mirror.#4 After you finish your morning mirror work, write down your feelings and observations. Did you feel angry or upset or silly. Six hours after finishing your morning mirror work, again write down your feelings and observations. As you continued to practice your mirror work formally and informally, did you start to believe what you were saying to yourself.
