Harder, a young honeymoon couple, were still awake when they heard a dull thump. They felt the ship quiver and there was a scraping noise along the ship’s side.#4 The excitement soon wore off. The Titanic seemed as solid as ever, and it was too bitterly cold to stay outside any longer. Slowly, the group filed back.
