It’s important that women understand their own bodies both sexually and sensually. By getting comfortable with the proper terminology for the touch-sensitive parts of your body, you’ll enhance your understanding of sexual stimulation.#2 The vulva is the external genitals of a female. The labia majora and labia minora are the outer and inner skin folds of the vulva, respectively. The clitoris is the primary source of sexual pleasure.#3 The clitoris is located at the top of the vulva, hidden under the hood where the inner and outer labia meet. It can be viewed by gently parting the labia. The clitoris is similar to a penis, though it’s much smaller in size. It swells with blood when sexually aroused, becoming erect and possibly doubling in size.#4 The vagina is an elastic canal that measures about three to four inches long when unaroused, but can expand to twice its size when aroused. Many women have vaginal orgasms, enjoying the pleasurable feelings of pressure, sexual fullness and stroking.
