We are the ones who have the responsibility to shape them into something meaningful. If God is writing our stories, He isn’t doing a good job. Some people’s stories seem quite tragic, and many of us have experienced our share of those tragedies.#2 It is important to realize that we are the authors of our stories. And it’s more than a useful belief: it’s a fun belief. We can change our personal experience and feel gratitude for its beauty rather than resentment for its meaninglessness.#3 The four main characters in every story are the victim, the villain, the hero, and the guide. The hero must want something difficult and perhaps even frightening to achieve. A victim, on the other hand, does not move forward or accept challenges.#4 We must ask ourselves what character we are playing in our story - if we are playing the victim or the villain. The two characters that will ruin our story the fastest are the victim and the villain.
