We have a whole range of devices and apps designed to be addictive, but they ultimately overwhelm us and rob us of the agency necessary to do what we want to do or need to do.#3 The human brain has a tipping point for information overload. When our brains are taking in too much sensory information at any one moment, we experience information overload. We often overload our brains with information by multitasking.#4 External stimulation, when used properly, can help us survive and adapt to change. But when used improperly, it can tire us out and make us feel overwhelmed. We must learn to control it.
