These "Letters not for you to read" portray a loving interaction, without explaining whether there's any close link of communion. Written as letters, there are apparently no shared real-life experiences between the characters. The writer explains that the person who inspired her should not read the content of these letters. A doubt still lingers: will a tender understanding be reached, or will these emotions languish, unrequited? As she explores and expresses her deepest and most personal feelings, a question arises: is this character imaginary, or real? Blending literary texts with artworks in a variety of media (collages, paintings, illustrations, drawings, and even stitching), the author strives to convey her anguish, afflictions, and contradictions to the reader. Experiments explore countless feelings related to love, symbolizing the satisfaction and suffering, marvels, miseries, and mysteries that are inherent to passion and desire.
Handcrafted by the author, the collage artworks illustrating each of these "Letters not for you to read" were exhibited at the Ateliê Piloto studio in Rio de Janeiro during the launch of an edition of this book in its original Portuguese on July 5, 2025.
