We were now called the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia. The mood at school was sad, and the newspapers were full of anti-Jewish articles.#4 The anti-Jewish orders were getting worse. There was an order that expelled Jewish children from state schools, and I was unhappy about it. I had to bear up and wait for other, much worse things to happen.
